Solar for people without roofs
Renters and shaded-home owners in Hillcrest couldn't install their own panels. The residents' association leased the community hall's roof and field edge to a 120 kW shared array — subscribers buy credits and see savings directly on their bills.

Shared solar lives or dies on fair metering. We installed per-subscriber virtual metering tied to each household's actual share, ran evening workshops so every member understood their dashboard, and set aside 10% of output to fund the hall's own bills — which won the ballot 9 to 1.
- Virtual metering per household share
- Member workshops and plain-language dashboards
- 10% community fund powering the hall free
A neighborhood that owns its power
Two neighboring streets have already asked for phase two. The hall's fund covers its lighting and heating, and subscribers track their sunshine in the same app our homeowners use.
